I really highly impressed with the level of discussion going on on the GUJARAT AND GUJARATI. I want to add here that when two south Indian (from any State or language) or two Maharashtrian or from any other state than Gujarat - meets and come to know that they belong to the same language, they immediately switch over to their mother tongue. But if two Gujarati come to know that they belong to the same language, they always try to impress other by speaking in English and not in Gujarati. This attitudinal change requires a brave heart effort.
